Marisa Way brings a diverse background in legal services, behavioral health counseling and leadership, real estate, and case management to her work serving individuals and families through complex life circumstances.

Marisa earned her bachelor’s degree from Liberty University and began her career as a paralegal, where she developed a deep respect for detail, documentation, confidentiality, and navigating complex systems. Through a passion to serve and support vulnerable individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, Marisa later went on to own and operate behavioral health facilities for more than a decade, managing high-stakes situations that required empathy, discretion, and decisive problem-solving. Marisa is a Florida State Certified Addictions Professional, with extensive training in trauma-informed care and military culture. She has completed Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security & Privacy Training, holds U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs certification in

Military Culture, and received a Certification in Case Management with Endeavors. 

Currently, Marisa serves as a Florida State Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate and co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of The Little Social, a community-driven children’s play café founded by her daughter. The business reflects Marisa’s lifelong commitment to family, community connection, and creating environments where people feel supported, respected, and cared for.

Coming from a military family, Marisa has a deep personal commitment to serving veterans and first responders. She is honored to support Sentinels of Service as an addiction professional, offering peer-informed support, linkages for services, and advocacy to those who reach out for help.
